By completing such a course, he gained valuable knowledge and skills. By leveraging this knowledge, Richard was well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the freight brokerage industry and build a successful business. Since 2011, Richard has been a significant player in the trucking industry. This field resonates deeply with his early experiences helping his father run a trucking business during his middle and high school years. Today, he is the CEO of Alexandre Inc., a multifaceted company that includes a freight dispatching service, a freight brokerage, and a trucking company. Richard’s business acumen, honed through years of hands-on experience and formal training, is evident in the success and growth of his ventures.
Richard served six years in the Army as a truck driver. This period was pivotal, as it taught him the values of discipline, leadership, and resilience—qualities that would later define his career. His military service also helped shape his passion for helping others, a passion he continues to nurture through various community initiatives.
Richard’s commitment to service extends beyond his professional life. He is actively involved in Houston Haitians United, a community organization dedicated to assisting migrating Haitians in settling in the U.S. and finding employment.
